Minimum aperture φ0.02mm; high-precision fine hole ceramics can be produced with a length of 100mm.
Pilot Corporation's ceramics can provide high dimensional accuracy for fine pores and deep holes of less than 1mm, which are difficult to manufacture through machining.
Thanks to the expertise in mixing, extrusion molding, and firing developed in the production of mechanical pencil leads, we can achieve dense and homogeneous molding, resulting in minimal dimensional variation within the same lot. Additionally, we can produce single holes, multiple holes, and irregularly shaped holes. By utilizing high-precision fine holes, we enable precise microflow control. Our ceramics, which have excellent corrosion resistance, can also be used with corrosive liquids and gases. The materials used are high-purity alumina, zirconia, and aluminum nitride.
【Features】
■ Capable of manufacturing fine ceramics with a minimum outer diameter of φ0.3mm and a minimum hole diameter of φ0.02mm
■ For inner diameters of less than φ1mm, we can produce long products with an aspect ratio of over 200 (maximum length of 120mm)
■ Free thickness can be achieved for deep holes, from thin to thick walls
■ High precision with a dimensional tolerance of ±5%
